Our program is now open to players from kindergarten through high school. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of the game to beginners, and also, provide playing experience to more advanced players, so that the kids can build the base for the future enjoyment of this great sport for many years to come.

We also want to build and develop an elite team at each age level that will be made up of players from all Tucson programs.  These teams will travel to tournaments where they will compete against other elite teams from all over the Country.  This exposure to advanced competition at the highest level will raise the level of play in Tucson for years to come.

We hope that you will join us in the program supported and endorsed by every lacrosse program in Tucson.

Happy Mothers Day Moms....

No practice this Sunday due to Mothers Day.  Boys, do something nice for your Mom...she does a lot for you and you shouldn't forget that.

Hot Summer Days...

All,

The first couple sessions have been pretty warm and appreciate everyone sticking it out.  Lacrosse in the Tucson summer is tough but there are some things that can help you get through.

First - You must drink WATER!  Not just the day of practice or the morning of, but the day prior.  You must hydrate the body...

Second - Make sure you eat something before coming to practice.  Something light to give you energy.

On a side note - We need to ensure all the boys have mouth guards.  Please ensure you have at least one and it is fitted properly to their teeth.  It never hurts to have a backup...

We have now confirmed our participation in 2 tournaments in June!

Park City Shootout, June15-16
We will be sending a U13 and U15 team to this tournament.  Right now we are working on the details but it looks like we will be chartering buses, one for players, and one for parents.  We will be leaving early the 14th, arriving that night, and then playing games the 15th and 16th, then leaving after the games on the 16, getting home the morning of the 17th.  Quite a road trip.  We looked at flights but really expensive.

We are reserving a block of rooms, looks like at the Marriott, and will forward all reservation information soon.

Please let me know as soon as possible if your son is not interested in participating in this tournament or if he can't because of schedule conflicts.  If I don't hear from you then your son will be considered for selection onto a team.

Coronado Adrenaline Tournament, June 23-24
We will be sending three teams which are designated by grade.  We will be sending a HS team, a 7th-8th grade team, and a 5th-6th grade team.  They will not be using the US Lacrosse age guidelines, just designated by grade.

We have not yet designated a "team" hotel but are looking into some possibilities.  Here, everyone will be on their own to get out there and hopefully there will be room for kids who need transportation.

Once again, please let me know as soon as possible if your son is not able to or interested in participating in this tournament.  We will be picking the teams very soon.

Sunday, April 22, will mark the beginning of the Summer session 2012.  The coaches are excited to get back on the field and I know the kids are as well.

EXCITING NEWS!!
We have been able to secure Rillito Park for all of our training sessions.  Now we can meet at a park that is reasonably convenient for everyone.


Fields have been confirmed for the following dates:
-  Sunday's, April 22 thru July 1 will be @ Rillito Park
        - K thru 5th grade, 11:00a to 12:00p
        - 6th - 8th grade, 12:00p to 2:00p

Beginning May 1st we will be adding 2 additional sessions during the week.  We will be meeting Tue and Thu evening from 6:00p to 8:00p once again at Rillito Park.  All ages will meet on those days and times.
